WHAT THIS SESSION IS

The Grounded Self is a 60-minute private somatic coaching session that begins with your intention — and then allows your body to lead.

Together, we slow the pace enough to notice what’s already present beneath the surface - sensations, emotions, and inner signals that often get overridden in daily life.

Rather than analyzing or problem-solving, we work directly with the body to support awareness, regulation, and emotional clarity as they naturally emerge.

Each session may include:

Somatic inquiry and body-based awareness — noticing sensations, impulses, and inner responses

Nervous system regulation to support grounding and safety.

Emotional processing at a pace your body chooses.

Gentle reflection and integration so insights can be carried into real life.

The session is structured, but never forced.
Attuned, but not directive.
Responsive to where your system wants to go — even when that differs from your original intention.

There is no agenda to fix anything.
No outcome you need to reach.
Only space to listen — honestly and with care.

A Gentle Note on Readiness

Somatic coaching is a body-led, present-moment practice designed to support awareness, regulation, and emotional clarity.
The Grounded Self offers this work in a 1:1 coaching space that prioritizes pacing, safety, and respect for your body’s signals.

It is not therapy, and it does not replace mental health or medical care.

This work is best suited for people who feel resourced enough to notice sensations, emotions, and inner signals —
gently and at their own pace.

If you are currently experiencing mental health distress, including:

active psychosis

frequent dissociation that makes it difficult to stay present

intense emotional overwhelm without outside support

this may not be the right container at this time.
